Oregon State University
Nash Hall, Room 304
The Oregon Lakes Association in conjunction with the Oregon Health Authority's Harmful Algal Bloom Surveillance Program, the US Forest Service, and the US Army Corps of Engineers are jointly sponsoring a second workshop focusing on Harmful Algae Blooms and cyanobacteria. This workshop will be held in Dr. Theo Dreher's Lab at Oregon State University on April 9, 2012.
The technical workshop will focus on sampling, toxicology, and the state's health guidelines. In addition the workshop will include basic information on identification of cyanobacteria blooms, the proper means to coordinate with health authorities, as well as provide a lab session where participants will use microscopes to identify samples of cyanobacteria. Thanks to some generous funding, this technical workshop is being held at no cost to the attendees. RSVP Today!
