  PSU Center for Lakes and Reservoirs  
  The Center for Lakes and Reservoirs (CLR) at Portland State University was established by the legislature to address lake management and invasive aquatic species issues in Oregon.  
     
 

North American Lake Management Society (NALMS)

 
  The North American Lake Management Society's mission is to forge partnerships among citizens, scientists, and professionals to foster the management and protection of lakes and reservoirs for today and tomorrow.  
     
  Washington Lake Protection Society (WALPA)  
  The Washington State Lake Protection Association is a non-profit organization formed in 1986 by a group of volunteers concerned for the future of lakes in this state.  
     
  Aquatic Plant Management Society (APMS)  
  The Aquatic Plant Management Society, Inc. is an international organization of scientists, educators, students, commercial pesticide applicators, administrators, and concerned individuals interested in the management and study of aquatic plants.  
     
  Western Aquatic Plant Management Society (WAPMS)  
  The Western Aquatic Plant Management Society is the western chapter of the Aquatic Plant Management Society  
     
  Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB)  
  OWEB has a mission to promote and implement programs to restore, maintain, and enhance watersheds in the state of Oregon in order to protect the economic and social well-being of the state and its citizens  
     
  Oregon State Marine Board  
  The Marine Board is dedicated to making the state's waterways safe and enjoyable for a wide range of users. The Marine Board is dedicated to improving recreational boating throughout Oregon and serves boaters through facility improvements, law enforcement, education and registration.  
     
  Oregon DEQ  
  The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is a regulatory agency whose job is to protect the quality of Oregon's environment.  DEQ's mission is to be a leader in restoring, maintaining and enhancing the quality of Oregon's air, land and water. DEQ works collaboratively with Oregonians for a healthy, sustainable environment.
 
   
   
     
  Oregon Health Authority  
  The Oregon Health Authority is the organization at the forefront of lowering and containing costs, improving quality and increasing access to health care in order to improve the lifelong health of Oregonians. One program within the department is the Harmful Algae Bloom Surveillance (HABS) program which is working to gain a better understanding about the occurrence of toxic algae blooms in Oregon, and to advise the public when a bloom has been detected so people can take protective action to avoid illness.
