Oregon Lakes Association and Oregon Institute of TechnologyWe are pleased to announce a joint conference between the Oregon Lakes Association and the Oregon Institute for Technology (Oregon Tech) will be held Wednesday October 22 to Friday October 24, 2025 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Please reserve the dates. A link to register for the conference will be live at a later date. Presenters will need to register for the conference.

Please consider submitting an abstract for an oral or poster presentation. We are especially interested in presentations on water quality, ecology, and management in the Klamath Basin. However, presentations may address any topic related to the ecology and management of lakes or reservoirs throughout the Pacific Northwest, including (but not limited to):

  • Lake and watershed restoration
  • Management of reservoirs
  • Effects of climate change on aquatic systems
  • Water quality
  • Aquatic invasive species
  • Fisheries management
  • Harmful algal blooms

Oral presentations will be 15-20 minutes.  A live-stream option for oral presentations will be available and recordings of the presentations (with the author’s consent) will be posted online following the conference.

We strongly encourage submissions from graduate students and early career researchers. Student presentations will be eligible for best student talk ($500 prize) or best student poster ($300 prize).

Please use the "Register" button above to submit abstracts online
between June 7, 2025 and September 1, 2025
.
